Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: May 4, 2026
We want Texloom Studio to be a safe, trustworthy place for textile designers to create commercial work. This AUP makes the boundaries explicit so you know exactly what crosses the line.
1. What this policy covers
This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) governs how you use Texloom Studio. It applies to every account, free or paid, and to every output generated through our tools or API. Violations can result in content takedown, plan suspension, or permanent account termination — at our sole discretion and without refund of unused credits.
This AUP is incorporated by reference into our [Terms of Service](/terms). When the two conflict, the stricter rule applies.
2. Prohibited content
You may not use Texloom Studio to create, upload, store, or distribute:
- Sexual content involving minors (CSAM) — zero tolerance, immediate report to authorities under applicable law
- Sexually explicit content depicting any real person without their explicit prior consent (deepfakes, non-consensual intimate imagery)
- Content that impersonates a real person with intent to deceive (political figures, public personalities, private individuals)
- Content designed to harass, threaten, defame, or incite violence against any person or group
- Hate speech or content that promotes discrimination based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristic
- Content that infringes copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property held by third parties
- Malware, phishing kits, or content designed to defraud users or platforms
- Content that violates any applicable law in your jurisdiction or ours
3. Prohibited use of the service
You may not:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code, models, or model weights behind our tools
- Resell, sublicense, or rebrand the Service as your own (white-labelling) without a written enterprise agreement
- Scrape, crawl, or systematically harvest content from our pages or generated outputs
- Bypass or attempt to bypass rate limits, content moderation, or other security controls
- Use the Service to train competing AI models (your inputs and our outputs are not training data — for ours OR yours)
- Run load tests, penetration tests, or security scans against our infrastructure without prior written permission
- Share your account credentials with anyone outside your organization, or sell access to your account
4. Special rules for AI generation
Because our tools generate visual content from text and image prompts, we apply additional rules:
- Output is your responsibility. You must do reasonable diligence (reverse-image search) before commercial use of high-risk outputs (logos, character art, branded designs) since AI outputs can inadvertently resemble existing copyrighted works.
- Inputs you upload must be yours to upload. Don't feed copyrighted reference images or photos of real people you don't have rights to.
- No "jailbreak" prompts. Don't use prompt injections to bypass our safety filters or coerce the model into producing prohibited content.
- No automated bulk generation of content for spam, SEO manipulation, or fake-review networks.
5. Reporting violations
If you see content or activity that violates this AUP — whether yours, someone else's, or content shared with you — report it to [[email protected]](mailto:[email protected]).
Include:
- The URL or account involved (if known)
- A short description of what you observed
- Any evidence (screenshots, links) — without re-distributing the offending content
We typically acknowledge AUP reports within 24 hours and complete review within 5 business days.
6. Enforcement
Depending on severity and history, we may:
- Send a warning with the relevant section quoted, asking you to remove the content or stop the behaviour
- Remove specific content from your account (we keep a record for our own audit)
- Suspend the account temporarily while we investigate
- Permanently ban the account without refund for repeat or severe violations
- Report to law enforcement for content that involves CSAM or other criminal activity
We do not provide a formal appeals process for permanent bans involving CSAM, deepfake imagery, or coordinated abuse. For other categories you may appeal once by replying to the enforcement email; the second decision is final.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this AUP from time to time. Material changes (e.g. adding new prohibited categories, changing enforcement procedures) will be announced at least 14 days in advance via the email address on your account. The "Last updated" date below tracks the most recent revision.
