What is AI image upscaling?

AI image upscaling makes a picture bigger and better. Instead of simply stretching pixels — which produces blur, halos, and ringing — our AI analyses the image, understands what it's looking at, and adds real detail that didn't exist before. The result is sharper edges, cleaner textures, and legible type at a size the original couldn't support.

For textile and print work, this matters more than in consumer photography. A 1500×1500 pattern destined for a 30cm repeat at 300 DPI needs to reach 3543×3543 before it's production-ready.
