45° bias angle looks more dynamic and professional on sarees and dupattas than straight placement.

Keep Fabric Drape near the middle: it shows the fold of the cloth without washing the colours out. Push it high only when the drape itself is the point.

How do I see my pattern on a garment?
Choose a Product Type, such as a saree, kurti, shirt, bedsheet or curtain, and the pattern is draped onto it.
How do I lay the pattern on the bias?
Set Pattern Angle to Bias for the 45° diagonal, or Cross for a 90° turn.
How do I make it look more like real cloth?
Raise Fabric Drape so the pattern bends into the folds. Near the middle shows the fold without washing the colours out.
