Seamless Repeats

Convert any design into a production-ready tileable pattern. AI-powered edge blending creates perfect seamless repeats for infinite tiling.

Modes

Block Repeat

The straight grid repeat. AI heals all four edges so the joins vanish. Tile it directly — no offset needed.

Half Brick

Rows offset sideways by half a tile, like brickwork — breaks up the grid. Tile with a 50% ROW offset.

Half Drop

Columns offset down by half a tile — the classic textile repeat. Tile with a 50% COLUMN offset.

When to Use

  • Creating continuous yardage patterns from single motifs
  • Preparing designs for digital textile printing
  • Converting artwork into production-ready repeat files

Pro Tips

💡

Half-drop creates a more natural, less grid-like appearance

💡

Always check the 3x3 preview for visible seams

💡

AI mode handles organic designs (florals, paisleys) better

What to Expect

Best Results

  • Motifs designed with edge continuation in mind
  • Patterns with balanced negative space
  • Square or proportional aspect ratios
  • Clean PNG files without artifacts
⚠️

Limited Results

  • Non-square tiles with complex ratios
  • Motifs touching tile edges unevenly
  • Strong directional elements
  • Photos or realistic imagery

Real-World Examples

Floral Dress Fabric

A single rose motif was converted to a seamless half-drop repeat for continuous dress fabric. Half-drop prevented obvious grid alignment, creating natural flow.

Geometric Shirting

A diamond pattern was tiled seamlessly for menswear shirting. Grid repeat with exact alignment created perfectly matched edges at every tile boundary.

Brick Upholstery Pattern

An abstract blob motif used brick repeat with 50% offset for upholstery. The staggered layout broke up monotony, creating visual interest at scale.
